The Ordination & Consecration of The Rev. John S. Smylie as the new Bishop of Wyoming was a beautiful, soul-filling event. Approximately 850 people attended the service at the Casper Events Center

Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori was the Chief Consecrator. Bishop Michael Curry of North Carolina had the Events Center rockin' with his power-packed homily on the human family of God.

The Electing Convention for the 9th Bishop of Wyoming was held March 20 at St. Matthew's Cathedral in Laramie.
